Established under Section 14 of the Urban Areas and Cities Act, 2011 (as amended), the nine-member Municipal Board oversees the affairs of Keroka Municipality, formulates and implements the Integrated Development Plan (IDeP), controls land use and development, mobilizes resources, and ensures efficient, accountable delivery of municipal services as delegated by the County Government of Nyamira.
The Municipal Board publishes budgets, tenders, and project updates so residents can track how public resources are used.
Our customer service desks and mobile units are designed to serve traders and residents promptly and fairly.
High mast and solar street lighting, fire safety inspections, and coordinated disaster preparedness keep markets and trading centres secure for residents and traders.
Pay for permits, cess, and municipal services conveniently through our digital and e-Citizen payment channels.
We plan land use, drainage, and green spaces to keep Keroka Town clean, orderly, and environmentally sustainable.
Ongoing investment in roads, drainage, water towers, and modern market stalls is steadily improving infrastructure and quality of life across Keroka Municipality.
