Keroka Municipality's management structure is anchored on the Municipal Board, which reports through the CECM for Lands, Urban Development, Housing and Physical Planning to the Office of the Governor and the County Assembly. The Municipal Manager serves as Secretary to the Board and heads day-to-day administration. The Board is supported by three Board Committees - Finance, Administration, Equity & Inclusivity; Municipal Service Delivery; and Infrastructure & Planning - and four technical departments reporting to the Municipal Manager: Finance (comprising Finance and Accounts, Planning Monitoring and Evaluation, Revenue, and ICT units); Transport, Infrastructure and Disaster Management (comprising Roads and Public Works, Physical Planning, Transport, and the Disaster Management Officer); Environment, Public Health and Social Services (comprising Environment, Social Services, and Public Health units); and Administration (comprising Human Resource, Enforcement and Compliance, and Operations and Flight Management units).
The Municipal Board publishes budgets, tenders, and project updates so residents can track how public resources are used.
Our customer service desks and mobile units are designed to serve traders and residents promptly and fairly.
High mast and solar street lighting, fire safety inspections, and coordinated disaster preparedness keep markets and trading centres secure for residents and traders.
Pay for permits, cess, and municipal services conveniently through our digital and e-Citizen payment channels.
We plan land use, drainage, and green spaces to keep Keroka Town clean, orderly, and environmentally sustainable.
Ongoing investment in roads, drainage, water towers, and modern market stalls is steadily improving infrastructure and quality of life across Keroka Municipality.
